ALLIANCE ENTERTAINMENT in the news: NBC Miami – Record Store Day 2018

As many of you are aware, Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally.  The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008.  Today there are Record Store Day participating stores on every continent except Antarctica.

In honor of the RSD, which returns this Saturday, April 21st, we wanted to share with you a nice call out by one of our stores in the Miami area featured on the local NBC station today.

Mikey Ramirez, owner of Technique Records, mentioned our fundraising efforts for Stoneman Douglas High School located close to our Sunrise, FL office.  Ramirez also referenced two key AMPED titles for Record Store Day in which he is featuring the artists in the store on Saturday.
